Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) Simulation of Sensors

Using micro interferometers, we have developed high-resolution micro interferometer arrays capable of transmitting complex dynamic scenes that are then projected onto complex sensors for hardware-in-the-loop simulation to evaluate  mission performance.  The accompanying figure shows the use of 4 micro Fabry-Perot tunable filter arrays to cover the UV to LWIR spectral regions of scene generation.
