DocuWare 5 is certified by the US Department of Defense (DoD) as to meeting the requirements of 5015.2-STD, Design Criteria Standard for Electronic Records Management Software Applications. It is compliant with US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 11 for the Pharmaceutical and Food Processing Industries. The system provides a means for “secure deletion” of documents and data to comply with HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley provisions and DoD 5015.2-STD. DocuWare 5 is fully compatible with Simple, Advanced and Qualified Electronic Signatures, as well as true Electronic Time Stamp authentication services as a standard feature, with support of standard protocols: PKCS#10 (Certification Requirements), PKCS#7/S/MIME, X.509 V3 (Certificate delivery), PKCS#7/S/MIME, and X.509 V2 (Lock List Administration).
